The only thing that might bother you is the little pressure that you might feel when wearing them, due to the size and type of earring they don't have a rubber pad to soften the pressure on your ear.

First off, I like these earrings quite well. For me, they do not pinch too tightly, but neither do they feel like they're about to fall off. The turquoise looks like the real thing, not like plastic. So far, so good.Where these earrings lose a star from me is in the setting. My inference from looking at the photo was that the sterling would wrap around the stone. This is true, to an extent. But the "wrap" drops straight off from the edge of the stone to a flat, chrome-looking oval on which the stone and its edge set. The profile of the earring (leaving out the clips and laying the earring flat) is something like (reading the tildes as flat lines) _|```|_I use these earrings for casual dress, where it would not break my heart to lose one (and where, not coincidentally, I'm likelier to lose an earring in the hubbub of things). They're pretty enough, I'm enjoying them, but it won't break my heart when they're gone.`
